
2009 - Bay St. Louis Mission Trip
Since 2006, HFH Bay-Waveland Area has partnered with more than 3,500 volunteers, families, donors, sponsors and friends to build approximately 115 homes in Hancock County.
Service:
Habitat provides housing rehab, new building and other repair assistance to victims if Hurricane Katrina. Projects are determined by available supplies and need.
Catholic Newman Center volunteers will be participating in the home building and repair program. Actual jobs will be determined upon arrival but may consist of re-roofing a house, floor repairs, window repairs or replacement, door replacements, room additions, ramps or other home repairs. We answer the call for service wherever there is need.
St. Vincent Mission is a community of people in Appalachia dedicated to sharing the expression of Christian Values.
St. Vincent Mission offers a variety of programs that include:
- building repair and rehab
- food shelf
- 2nd hand store
- Christmas store
- emergency needs program
